Great Success for Carr Manor Lads Nathaniel White, Daunte Wint-Angus, Mugi Zama, Ahmed Zaman and Cheng Ngo, as they took 3rd place for the Breeze Festival Finals held at the Courtyard Theatre at the West Yorkshire Playhouse on Thursday 29th October.

They were the only dance act to be in the running order and were beaten by 2 singers, both older than them. They won a £100 prize for their efforts and this has afforded them new costumes and resources for their up-coming performances.  Back in July, these lads, Just 15, were spotted by Leeds Carnegie Basketball coach Matthew Newby at a Sports Awards evening.

Just 2 days after their successful performance at the Playhouse they were back on the court and performing to the masses, this time at a home game for the Leeds Carnegie team in half time.  They also now have their own website designed by other students from the school and their success is trickling into other areas, with offers in for other performances outside of school. They hope to continue this successful stint through the year.
