Most pupils will study ICT as part of their core curriculum at Key Stage 4. It’s hoped that pupils will be able to develop a range of ICT skills that will assist them in their studies, in particular, the production of material for coursework and research. Pupils will also be able to develop the skills that will assist them in their future plans, be that in higher or further education, or in a career. Pupils will follow a course leading to a qualification, either at Level 1 or Level 2. Possible Qualifications Functional Skills: a skill based course that is assessed through practical exam covering document production spreadsheets. OCR nationals: a full GCSE equivalent, this is a practical module based course. Assessment is assignment based. |
