Jane Tomlinson visited Carr Manor on the 6th Febuary 2007 to open the new sports hall named after her. Jane spent time with pupils and inspired them by  her fundraising activities, despite the fact she was fighting incurable cancer.

 School Pupils presented Jane with a cheque for her charity, Jane's Appeal, raised through a staff quiz.
